Quoted — the app that remembers what moves you
Quoted is a mood journal and daily reflection app for Android, published by ToonandTools. It gives you one quote a day, chosen for where you actually are — and it remembers the ones that landed, so they can come back when you need them again.
What the app does
Most quote apps are an endless feed. Quoted is deliberately the opposite: one quote, with a line explaining why it was chosen for you. You can react to it with a single tap or a sentence — there is no blank journal page demanding an essay. Over weeks, those small reactions build a picture of your patterns, and the app starts bringing back the words that worked.
Every quote has a source
Quote collections on the internet are full of misattributions that get copied from app to app. Every quote in Quoted is checked verbatim against a public-domain primary text before it ships, with the work, the year and — where the author wrote in another language — the named translator recorded alongside it. Lines that only match in paraphrase do not make it in.

It runs on your device
Quoted is local-first. Your moods, journal entries and reflections stay on your device by default, and no account is required to use the app. If you want your library backed up across devices you can opt into sync — that part is your choice. The matching itself runs on-device, which is also why it works offline.
